Hello again to all. Well, as promised, here is a Dr. Appointment update. Jordon had his MRI and then we met with Dr. Glantz. Dr. Glantz is pleased with how well Jordon is doing, however he is not pleased with Jordon's constant low blood counts, so (Drum roll please) he has decided to switch one of Jordon's chemotherapy. That means no more DEATH IN A BAG (BCNU)!!!
Instead Jordon will be taking a daily oral chemotherapy called Cytoxan. Possible side effects are nausea, fatigue, and hair loss. He won't have to deal with the ultra low blood counts though which is a great things because that will allow him to get his Avastin treatments on time. The Avastin is the more important treatment and it IS WORKING. Another good thing about switching the chemo is that it won't cause so much stres on his body. Not having that stress will also mean fewer small seizures (they haven't been a big deal, but they are a big pain in the butt and they wear Jordon out so much).
Dr. Glantz hoped by Thursday's MRI that the tumor would be completely gone, but it wasn't. There is still a little spot that the Dr. worries about. We talked about how it might still be there because Jordon missed so many of his treatments (caused by low blood counts).
On Saturday, Jordon baked amazing cookies for the people at Courage Reins (where he rides horses) and he is now the favorite cookie maker there. Saturday night, we went and played basketball at the church with my family. We had a great time, and our neice Macadey loved having Jordon lift her up high so she could through the ball in. She kept picking up the ball, throwing it down, and then running off saying, "Cadey did it, good girl cadey". It was so adorable. Jordon's game was really on and he won HORSE. We have decided to try and make it a Saturday night tradition.
On Sunday, despite the snow storm, we had my family over for "Third Sunday Dinner" (that was bumped back a week). We enjoyed merry chaos as 11 adults 2 toddlers and 2 infants crowded into our cozy home. Jordon made another amazing roast. We also especially enjoyed the evening because we were able to finally meet our new little nephew Alex and we loved when our little Jaxon did his squishy face. It's so nice you have family around you. It seems like they are amazing and you have a lot of fun together. I'm glad no more death in a bag for Jordon. I just hope EVERYTHING works out! Love ya.
Ohmyword--your niece is probably my favorite part of that video! She's simply adorable runnin' around in her sleeper jammies. I had no idea that Jordon was such an amazing cook! How did I miss that?!?!
I am happy to hear that he doesn't have to have the death in a bag anymore, but I hope he does ok with the new chemo. Please let us know if we can do anything. It is fun to see you both spending time with family! We love you!

Hopefully everything works great with the new chemo. Who's baby is Alex? I feel so out of the loop sometimes. Cadey is adorable! Nice basket Jordon.
