One week and counting!!!

Jordon had yet another remarkable day. This morning Jordon played tic-tac-to with the therapis using his RIGHT HAND. He also gave her a very hard time, and when she beat him at tic-tac-toe, he told her she was fired. :o) Then the therapist made him erase the board, with his right hand. It is getting stronger every day. Right after tic-tac-toe and before physical therapy, Jordon insisted on tying my shoe. It took a few tries, but he ventually got it. This is an excellent way to help Jordon with his small motor skills. The therpist was impressed, especially since Jordon came up with the idea on his own. Way to go Jordon!

Then on to physical therapy. Libby his 5'2'' therapist had him first walk with a cane, and then she had him walk without a cane. Jordon walked a lot better without the cane than he did with the cane. Probably because the cane was too short for him. In fact everything here is too short for him. Oh well. Only a few more days, right?
After physical therapy, Jordon had speech therapy. He was so worn out, he almost started falling asleep. The therapist cut the session short so Jordon could have a rest. And rest Jordon did. He slept through lunch, and then he slept through his afternoon speech therapy session. Darrin, his therapist said he needed his rest, and he looked so comfortable, he decided to let him sleep. It's a good thing jordon didn't sleep through his recreational therapy. He got to play wii video games. He played a baseball game first, and he kicked butt, and then he played a bowling game. He had a hard time with that one. Probably because he was doing it left handed. he he he. Then he had another session with the physical therapist and Jordon got to work out on the total gym. His therapist was joking and told him Chuck Norris better watch out or Jordon will put him out of an endorsement job.
The cherry to the top of a great day: Jordon ate a FULL DINNER of lasagna, green beans, a roll, and some angel food cake. :o) Daily, I am amazed at the progress he is making. Pictures and details tomorrow. I promise!!!
